About the Artist: William A. Mercaitis (WAM)

The artist was born in the early fifties and raised in the midwest.
           Bill (WAM) relocated to Port Aransas, TX with his wife Jane in 1988. While still maintaining a residence in Port A, in 2007 Bill & Jane moved to the DFW area. Other than high school art classes, he is self taught in photography and art. His hobbies include reading, fishing, interior decorating and remodeling. He has traveled the Carribean and the United States extensively in last 15 years. His art mediums include photography, painting, stained glass and has recently started crafting one of a kind furniture pieces out of wood.
